H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner PUMP

Watchmaking That Breathes, Luxury That Plays

In the late 1980s, Reebok introduced the Pump sneaker, an icon defined as much by attitude as by performance. It proved that function and pleasure could coexist, anchored by a signature gesture — a simple press that connected wearer and shoe, enabling adjustment, personalisation, and a sense of immediacy.

H. Moser & Cie. shares this spirit of refined nonconformity, where luxury feels most compelling when it does not take itself too seriously. In this shared mindset, both maisons reinterpret the Pump gesture through horology. Debuting at Watches and Wonders 2026, the Streamliner Pump reintroduces play into watchmaking and restores a tactile, expressive dimension to mechanics.

The Pump Gesture, Reimagined in Watchmaking

As Reebok prepares the return of the Pump in 2026, H. Moser & Cie. translates its iconic orange button into a winding system for a mechanical movement. Replacing the crown, an anodised aluminium pusher channels each press into the barrel spring while activating the power reserve display. Beneath the surface, an openworked mechanism reveals a precise mechanical choreography.

Each press delivers over an hour of power reserve. Once fully wound, the button remains active — inviting continued interaction purely for the pleasure of the gesture.

 A Pumped Movement

H. Moser & Cie. re-engineered its HMC 500 automatic small-seconds calibre into a manual-winding movement to accommodate this concept. Its slim architecture provided the ideal base for integration, with every component repositioned to support the Pump system while preserving efficiency.

Seen through the sapphire case-back, the result is a refined, lightweight engine that maintains the brand’s minimalist identity while introducing a new tactile interface between wearer and movement.

When Quartz Becomes a Noble Material

The Streamliner Pump is issued in two limited editions of 250 pieces. Its case is crafted from forged quartz fibre, a material purer and whiter than glass fibre, UV-resistant, and colourable in ways carbon cannot match.

Moulded, compressed, and cured in multiple stages, it produces a matte surface with a unique moiré pattern — ensuring no two watches are identical. Inside, a titanium “sarcophagus” protects the movement, ensures 10 ATM water resistance, and secures the integrated rubber strap.

At 11.4 mm thick, the watch remains lightweight yet substantial. The lacquered dial, in black or white depending on the reference, is paired with Globolight®-filled hands emitting a green glow, and an orange disc indicating power reserve.

Playful Luxury, Watchmaking with Breath

Since 2013, H. Moser & Cie. has positioned itself as a distinctive voice in haute horlogerie, as CEO Edouard Meylan explains: “We take watchmaking very seriously, but we are the ‘cool kid’ of haute horlogerie. The Streamliner Pump embodies this: refined yet irreverent, disciplined yet playful, and designed to be touched, pressed, and experienced.”

Matt Salter of Authentic Brands Group adds: “The Pump remains one of Reebok’s most iconic innovations. H. Moser & Cie.’s craftsmanship and bold design make this a natural collaboration, reinterpreting the Pump from footwear to timepiece.”

From Sneaker to Watch… And Back Again

H. Moser & Cie. and Reebok extend the concept with an exclusive Pump sneaker, reserved for Streamliner Pump owners and select friends of the brand. It completes a circular narrative: the Pump evolves from sneaker to watch, then returns to its original form.

Developed within the Moser Exploration LAB™, the project reflects a shared philosophy of movement, expression, and understated elegance — a distinctive take on haute horlogerie.
